Ocean Institute Home Raffle’s September “Bonus Prize” Drawing Yields 100 Lucky Winners;
Top Prizes Include $10,000 Cash and a Toyota Prius
Wednesday, October 20, is the
deadline to enter for the Grand Prize drawing; top winner to receive a Laguna
Beach home or $1 million in cash
DANA POINT, CA, October 7, 2010 –
The Ocean Institute held its September bonus prize drawing on September 29 with
100 prizes awarded. All those
selected still qualify for the Grand Prize of $1 million or a home in Laguna
Beach.
Judith Sclar of Laguna Beach along with her brother, Doug Sclar won the $10,000 prize. Jens Von Gierke of Laguna Niguel won the top multi-ticket prize,
a new 2010 Toyota Prius. The remaining winners received Anaheim Hilton
hotel/Disneyland getaways, and $1500, $1000 & $500 certificates for South
Coast Plaza and Quiksilver/Roxy Gift cards.
“We
congratulate our winners, but those who have purchased or who are planning to
purchase tickets should remember that there are many more additional prizes to
give away,” commented Susan Goggin, co-director of the Ocean Institute’s home
raffle.
Several new
prizes have been added to the Refer a
Friend Drawing, a special drawing for ticketholders who refer family and friends
to buy too. When you win, your
friend wins too! Two friends will
be awarded $10,000 each, 2 new Apple iPads, 2 custom
shaped Hobie surfboards, 2 Nirve beach cruisers, and 2 Hobie beach packages (skateboard, Victoria skim board, beach chair).
“Our
community partners have been supportive and generous,” added Goggin.
The grand
prize is a beautiful Laguna Beach home or the alternate prize of $1 million in
cash. The home has a spectacular,
whitewater ocean views and is a short walk to the beach. The grand prize drawing will be held at
the Ocean Institute on November 6.
Tickets are $150 and a maximum of 20,000 tickets
will be sold. In addition to the
grand prize, there will be many more cash and merchandise prizes including our
bonus drawing for multiple ticket purchasers, including the chance to win a new
Toyota Prius or $15,000 cash. All
tickets, including the winning tickets from the bonus prize and multi-ticket
drawings, are automatically re-entered into all subsequent drawings including
the final and grand prize drawing.
