Interview and Photo Opportunity with Renowned Jazz Trumpeter

And Celebrity Chefs of "Jazz in January"

DANA POINT, CA, December 26, 2007 - Rick Braun, who will perform with saxophonist Gerald
Albright at the annual Ocean Institute "Jazz in January", will be available for photos and
interviews at this private media reception. Braun began as a trumpeter for the jazz-fusion
group, "Auraclez". After the group disbanded, Braun turned to song writing and scored a
hit with REO Speedwagon's “Here with Me.” He has been a recipient of two of the
Gavin Report's "Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year " Awards. He has collaborated with
artists Tina Turner, Natalie Cole, Sade, Tom Petty, War, Glen Frey and Crowded House.
His latest CD, "Yours Truly", was released in 2005.

The premiere evening of "Jazz in January" will feature an intimate performance
for 200 guests by Rick Braun and the legendary Gerald Albright. Albright's saxophone
and electric bass work has graced hundreds of recordings by legends such as Nina
Simone, Barry White, Nancy Wilson, The Temptations, Stanley Clarke, Lamont Dozier,
Randy Newman and Teena Marie. The fundraiser will also include a cocktail reception
with wines provided by Young's Market Company, a magnificent martini luge provided
by Ketel One Vodka and an award-winning, four-course dinner prepared by the Celebrity
