Ocean Institute Celebrates Valentine's Day with "Sea of Love" Program
DANA POINT, CA, January 31, 2007 - The Ocean Institute is celebrating Valentine's Day with a "Sea of Love" program on Sunday, February 11, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Visitors can enjoy expanded exhibits, and find out the answers to such questions as: Are there ocean animals that have a single partner for life? Do any male sea creatures give birth and do the housework? Which sharks carry their mate's "mermaid's purse?" What does a whale's love song sound like?
Visitors can also make their sweethearts ocean-themed valentines and enjoy sweet treats. The program is free with paid admission to the Institute ($4-$6), and free to members. For additional information about the Institute, visit www.ocean-institute.org or call (949) 496-2274.
