Ocean Institute to Offer Naturalist-Led
Summer Kayak Trips in Dana Point Harbor
DANA POINT, CA, June 21, 2007 - The Ocean Institute is offering a series of summer
kayak trips around Dana Point Harbor beginning Sunday, July 8, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. and noon - 2
p.m. Led by an Ocean Institute naturalist, participants will explore seabirds, harbor history and
the geology of the harbor cliffs. Additional trips (same times) will be offered July 15 & 21 and
August 4, 18 & 19.
Each trip will be an intimate, eight-person group with two per kayak. No kayaking
experience is necessary but participants should know how to swim. Kayak, paddle and life
jacket will be supplied.
Cost is $24. Participants must be at least age 10; children under age 17 must be
