Raffle Early Bird One Drawing Winners
DANA POINT, CA, September 4, 2007 - The Ocean Institute's 2007 Laguna Beach
Million Dollar Home Raffle held its first of four drawings that ends with the October 27th final
and Grand Prize drawing for a Laguna Beach home or $1 million in cash. The lucky winners of
the first of the two Early Bird drawings were announced Saturday at the Ocean Institute, the non-profit beneficiary of the raffle. Immanuel Abair of Moreno Valley won the Early Bird One top
cash prize of $15,000 when his ticket was pulled from the raffle's drum.
Other Early Bird 1 winners include: $5000 - Po Wong of Helendale and three prizes of
$1000 each to Dan Cooney, Lakewood; Danny Philips, Round Rock, Texas; and Derik Lewis,
Irvine.
The Early Bird winners will have their tickets placed back in the drum so that they and all
others who have purchased tickets can still win one of the hundred remaining cash prizes. Cash
prizes awarded during the 2007 Laguna Beach Million Dollar Home Raffle range from $300 to
the Grand Prize of $1 million, or the Laguna Beach condo.
2nd Early Bird Deadline
The 2nd early bird deadline for the Ocean Institute's 3rd annual
2007 Laguna Beach Million Dollar Home Raffle is Wednesday, September 12. Individuals
who purchase tickets by this date will have the opportunity to win $23,000 in additional cash
prizes, and be automatically re-entered for the $1 million Laguna Beach home or $1 million in
cash Grand Prize. The 2nd early bird drawing will be Saturday, September 22, noon at the
Institute.
Tickets Selling at a Record-Breaking Pace
Tickets are $150 each. A maximum 18,000 tickets will be sold; over 13,000 have been sold already. Tickets have been selling at a
record breaking pace, and are on schedule to sell out early. In addition to the grand prize, there
will be over 100 cash prizes from $300 to $25,000 plus a bonus drawing for multiple ticket
purchasers. The 1st prize for multiple ticket purchasers is a 2007 Lexus RX400h or $20,000 in
cash; 2nd prize is a 7-day Grand Cayman adventure, including 1st class airfare for two, staying in
a five-star Hyatt Hotel or $10,000; 3rd prize is a five-night Hawaiian vacation in a luxury suite at
Halekulani Resort, airfare for two included, or $3500; 4th prize is a 50-inch big screen plasma
TV plus installation or $2,500 cash.
And, a newly added prize is a Hilton Hotel 10-night tour of luxury hotels in Italy with
airfare for two or $12,000.
The Grand Prize drawing will be held Saturday, October 27, noon, at the Ocean Institute
in Dana Point.
