Ocean Institute Offers Interactive Tours of Tall Ship Pilgrim on Sundays
DANA POINT, CA, June 16, 2008 -
The Ocean Institute is launching an exciting new interactive tour of its tall ship Pilgrim, the Seafarer's Guided Expedition, on Sundays, beginning July 6. The tours are included in the price of admission to the Ocean Institute, $6.50 adults and $4.50 children ages 4-12. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience life onboard a tall ship of the 19th century, including moving cargo, raising the staysail, knot tying and gunnery.
Tour times vary each Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; check in at the Ocean Education Center front desk to schedule your tour and enjoy the Center's exhibits and marine life while you wait.
