Ocean Institute Welcomes Wyland for Artist by the Sea Lecture Series

DANA POINT, CA, March 24, 2008 - The Ocean Institute, Wyland and Borders will launch an "Artist by the Sea" lecture series on Thursday, April 17, 6:30 p.m. featuring artist and environmentalist Wyland. The evening will feature a look at Wyland’s documentary work with the Discovery Channel, inspiring children to connect with the ocean through art and stories from his new book, Wyland: Visions of the Sea. Wyland will also discuss his role as the official artist for the U.S. Olympic team.

Questions and answers and a book signing will follow. Cost with reservations is $7 adults, $5 seniors (age 60+). Children are free.
