Win $1 Million or a Laguna Beach Home! - Ocean Institute to Hold its 5th Home Raffle

DANA POINT, CA, June 29, 2009 - The Ocean Institute is pleased to announce the return of its Laguna Beach Million Dollar Home Raffle. Participants will have the opportunity to win a beautiful Laguna Beach home with an estimated value of $1 million or the alternate prize of $1 million in cash. The home has a spectacular, panoramic view and is a short walk to the beach.

In 2008, Robert Bragaglia of San Clemente was the happy winner and took home the $1 million dollar cash prize. The Ocean Institute is one of the few raffles in the state that has awarded the grand prize every year. Tickets for the 2009 Home Raffle go on sale on Saturday, July 4.

Tickets are $150 each, a maximum 22,000 tickets will be sold. In addition to the grand prize, there will be nearly 400 cash and merchandise prizes including three bonus drawings for multiple ticket purchasers. There are twice as many prizes this year in comparison to last year. The 1st prize for the August 19th Early Bird Multi-Ticket One Drawing is a new Toyota Prius or $15,000 in cash. Another Toyota Prius, plus computers, dream vacations, spa days, shopping sprees, cash and more, will be awarded during the course of the raffle. Enter by August 19th and qualify for two early bird drawings and extra cash and merchandise prizes totaling $128,000, in addition to the grand prize of $1 million or the Laguna Beach home. Buy two or more tickets and also qualify for all three multi-ticket drawings and be eligible for a total of $245,000 in prizes and the grand prize. All tickets, including the winning tickets from the early bird and multi-ticket drawings, are automatically re-entered into all subsequent drawings including the final and grand prize drawing held November 7, 2009, at the Ocean Institute in Dana Point.
