Ocean Institute Welcomes Big Wave Surfers & Photographers for Artist by the Sea Lecture Series

DANA POINT, CA, March 9, 2009 - The Ocean Institute is pleased to welcome world-class big wave surfers and photographers for their presentation Goliaths of the Ocean: Big Waves of the North Pacific on Wednesday, April 15, at 7 p.m.

Guests will dive into the history of big wave surfing that is filled with passionate stories of those who have confronted the goliaths of the ocean. Mike Parsons, Greg Long, Gary Linden, Sean Collins and Jason Murray will share experiences and adventures spanning from the breakers at the Cortes Bank to Mavericks, Waimea Bay, Todos Santos Islands and the Outer Reefs of the North Shore.
