Tall Ship Weddings

Celebrate your wedding aboard a historic tall ship! Enjoy your ceremony at sea aboard the majestic schooner Spirit of Dana Point with a spectacular backdrop of rigging, sails and open sea. Or host your ceremony shoreside on the spacious decks of the regal tall ship Pilgrim nestled in beautiful Dana Point Harbor.

Ceremonies Aboard Include:

• Cannon fire salute (aboard Spirit of Dana Point only)
• Staff and crew in full traditional attire (optional)
• Large bridal room onshore

Additional Information:

• On-site director available to assist in coordination and planning prior to and on day of event.
• Set-up of tables and chairs included
• Alcohol allowed onboard under guidance of approved bartender
• Refreshments allowed onboard
• List of approved caterers available
• Beautiful photo opportunities on beach (protected marine life refuge)

Weddings on Pilgrim Dockside

$950 - $1,200
Max 55 on deck, additional 30 on dock, additional shoreside viewing also available

• Two to four hours on day of ceremony (includes set up/break down time and ceremony)
• One-hour dress rehearsal day before or when fits in schedule
• Use of Maritime Barn for bridal room - refreshments may be served for bridal party
• OI Staff may be in full period attire
• Up to 50 wooden chairs available
• Officiator available for additional fee including real ship Captain.

Weddings Aboard Spirit of Dana Point at Sea

$1,400 - $2,000
Max 50

• Two to four hours total
• Refreshments/catering available on board (call for details)
• Captain's cabin available for Bridal room
• Crew may be in full period attire or in regular / modern attire
• Cannon fire after ceremony at sea
• We can provide officiator for additional fee, including a real ship's Captain.
