The Institute's mission is to promote responsible stewardship of our oceans. Your contribution of time and talent will further our outreach. With over 400 volunteers and ten different teams we are sure to have an area of interest and schedule just right for you.
From our serene gift shop to tallship sailing we offer science and maritime teaching, husbandry and visitor services opportunities on land and sea.Volunteer Orientation
Attend one of our twice-monthly orientation meetings to learn more and sign up. These are offered on the first Wednesday of each month from 3:30-6pm and third Saturday from 9:30-11am (not in Dec).
