The Ocean Institute, in collaboration with Birch Aquarium at Scripps, Aquarium of the Pacific, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, and other partners, are celebrating conservation and recreation along Southern California’s coast. You can learn about and explore the species, ecosystems, and resources that make our local marine environment exceptional.

A managed network of marine protected areas exists to sustain and improve not only marine animals and habitats, but recreational, commercial, educational, and research opportunities as well.

Kid-friendly activities, animal feedings, short films, and ocean-themed crafts are just some of the fun!
