Catalina Odyssey: A Voyage of Discovery
 Grades 4-college
Two to five days, 30 participants, typical program: $2200 ($2400 for programs Jan. - June 2008)
Create your own adventure aboard the Spirit of Dana Point with traditional sailing, oceanography, and island ecology activities. Students learn seafaring skills at sea, conduct studies of fish ecology and water chemistry, as well as snorkel and hike on Catalina Island.
Embark on a voyage to Catalina Island, California's local treasure. On your sailing adventure you will participate as a crewmember and explore the island and surrounding waters while you snorkel, hike, and live the life of a tall-ship sailor. This program is adaptable to fit your needs in the fields of ecology, water chemistry, oceanography, biology, and history.
