Be a part of the historic water welcome for Hikianalia, a traditional Polynesian canoe, from aboard the Ocean Institute’s research vessel, Sea Explorer. For this Ocean Institute members-only event, cruise the coast before joining the parade of outriggers, paddlers, and more as the Hikianalia makes its way into Dana Point Harbor.

Cruise the beautiful Dana Point Harbor during this family friendly harbor cruise. Learn the history of the harbor, from Richard Henry Dana’s visit in the 1830s to world renown surf spot and recreational harbor. On the cruise, our team will share the history and ecology of the harbor.
