Painting by the Sea: Mandala Rocks
Galentine's Day Celebration
Grab your best girlfriends and spend ‘Galentine’s’ Day creating Mandala Rocks at Ocean Institute. OCDC Art & Design will be present to help you create decorative, patterned rocks. You will each take some home to keep as a symbol and celebration of your friendship.
“Mandala” is Sanskrit for “circle.” Circles have many meanings in many cultures celebrating the circular nature of life, seasons, and connections. Mandala painting on rocks is the latest craft craze and you can be a part of it at Ocean Institute. Create connections with friends and the ocean at this fun and informative class.
Painting will take place on the Historic Maritime Wharf and Boat House with a spectacular view. It is partially outside so please wear a jacket.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
