Sea Stars with Sensitivities
Sea Stars with Sensitivities is a new program at Ocean Institute which is designed for our guests with ASD or any sensitivity to explore and enjoy. Ocean Institute will be open an extra hour for our Sea Stars with Sensitivities program on Saturday, July 27th. This program focuses on sensory play in addition to all our Grossology activities. You can rent a pair of noise-cancelling headphones, get the scoop on poop in the scat lab, check out a fidget toy, test the properties of slime, take advantage of our quiet corner, and learn about gross ocean science. Touch tanks will be open, but we have many animals to observe and enjoy for anyone who prefers not to touch.
This program will be free of charge.
Registration limited to one Sea Star with Sensitivities and one aide, caregiver, or legal guardian.
