Post

COVID19 UPDATE

Private beach cleanups are once again available to book with some small changes. The limit for participants will be 10 people, in line with county guidelines. Masks must be worn at all times during cleanup and a distance of 6 feet kept with participants not in your house hold and staff. Private beach cleanups will now be $30 for an extra cleaning fee of supplies. Gloves will be provided and must be worn at all times during cleanup.

Looking to give back to the ocean and your community? Join us for a two hour Beach Cleanup!

Ocean Institute beach cleanups removed over 1,700 pounds of trash in 2019. Help us prevent even more trash from entering our ocean in 2020. Please wear closed toed shoes and bring a refillable water bottle. Those 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Ocean Institute will provide trash pickers and compostable bags!

Solar4Causes, a local green energy consulting group, has been designated as an Ocean Institute Sustaining Partner for public beach cleanups throughout 2020.
