Bill of Rights
The Bill of Rights is a replica of a 19th century 2-masted schooner designed by McCurdy, Rhodes, & Bates and was constructed in South Bristol, Maine. She is 136 ft long, with a 25 ft beam, 115 ft mainmast and tonnage of 160 gross.
She has been a working part of Ventura, San Pedro, and Channel Islands to Santa Barbara waterfront, and has successfully been part of adventure sailing and youth educational programs. The ship finished her Coast Guard certification and refit in the Marine Group in Chula Vista. Her new home port is at the Chula Vista Excursion dock in California, where she can take guests on day sails and overnight excursions.
