Just in time for a special holiday gift, tickets are now on sale for the highly popular Ocean Institute Jazz Festival!  March 2nd and 3rd, 2018 will bring two extraordinary evenings of incredible food and world-class Jazz.  Guests will enjoy fantastic jazz performances, five-star dining experiences and hosted bars all while helping to bring inspiring marine science education programs to students.  Proceeds from the 2018 Jazz Festival directly support the Ocean Institute Adopt-a-Class Program which brings over 10,000 underserved students a year to the Ocean Institute for an inspiring experiential field trip.

Opening night on Friday March 2nd features a pre-concert reception showcasing tastes from the best local restaurants, paired with specially chosen artisan brews and wine.  Guests can purchase a ticket to enjoy an ‘up close and personal’ private VIP pre-party and front row seats or standing room only in the courtyard ‘Jazz Lounge’.

The Premier Gala on Saturday is an incredible night of fine dining and modern, world-class jazz in an incredible setting.  The evening begins with an elegant reception featuring passed canapés and an array of hosted bars.  The five-course dinner that follows the reception highlights the talents of five of the area’s most talented chefs and is a fine dining experience that’s hard to beat.  There’s limited seating so purchase your ticket early.

“Experiencing highly talented and acclaimed jazz artists in this intimate setting makes for a spectacular night” says Mary Lawson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Ocean Institute.  “Partner that with epicurean dining presented by five of the top chefs in southern California and served with the elegance of the Monarch Beach Resort’s incredible staff and you have an unforgettable evening.  We are so grateful to all our sponsors and guests who have helped create a legacy of fun and elegance with this 16th annual Jazz Festival.  We thank you for supporting the thousands of children who benefit from your generosity.”

Since its beginning in 2003, this extraordinary event has raised over one million dollars to benefit Ocean Institute’s hands-on, marine science educational programs and focuses on giving the gift of the ocean to children who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to experience the life changing field trips offered by Ocean Institute. The event is made possible by generous support by Premier Catering Partner The Monarch Beach Resort, as well as the Ranch at Laguna Beach, Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, Montage Laguna Beach, and SDG&E. Mark your calendars and get ready to boogie!
